The Most Comfortable (and Chic) Shoes. Ever.

HAPPY CHARIX FEET!

These Charix shoes were amazingly comfortable on first wearing. No breaking in necessary. Beautiful classy look, soft but durable leather, and extremely well made. My new favorite shoe. I will probably order another pair and size up a half size, since I prefer more room for my toes. I highly recommend.

Best shoes

Very comfortable shoe right out the box … I have the camel suede and love it, goes with jeans to dresses.

Only two stars because of sizing difficulties

I’m going to start with the pros of these shoes. They are well made with a refined aesthetic that makes them suitable for a number of different outfits. They are manufactured with soft leather without any sharp edges that usually lead to blisters. The biggest negative I’ve experienced with the shoes is getting the right fit has been difficult so far. I ordered EU size 45, which usually always fits me comfortably but these shoes when they arrived were especially snug when I tried them on. The shoes come with a sheet offering sizing advice. Turns out the shoes are designed to fit snuggly at first and are intended to stretch into the right fit. Customer service sent me the next size up so I could compare but my heel lifted out of the back too easily so I decided to stick with the size 45 per advice from customer service. I spent a couple weeks wearing them around the house to try and stretch them as advised. After awhile they started feeling better so I went on a longer walk outside. Walking at my normal stride outside, I’ve found the shoes to be uncomfortable. My toe pushes up against the tip of the shoe and puts a lot of strain on the tendon on top of my foot. Unless these shoes stretch more I’m afraid they will be unsuitable for long walks. Just be aware that these shoes might not be a perfect fit out of the box and that they are designed to be snug at first. This probably works for most people but it’s in doubt for me at the moment whether they will ever suit my needs. I could see myself liking them more if they can stretch to a point where they are comfortable to walk in.

Just bought 2 more pair

Love these shoes! So comfortable and versatile. I often receive compliments when wearing them and the craftsmanship is solid. I bought my first pair a couple of years ago and the leather still looks great (and haven't had to polish them since I bought them)

Maybe size up for the leopard print pony-hair shoe

This is my second pair of Charix. The suede/leather shoes have more give than the leopard print pony-hair shoe I most recently ordered. The leopard is very on trend and not uncomfortable, but not as forgiving and ultra soft as the leather options. That's the only reason I removed 1 star.

Comfort and Class

I really like my new shoes. I like simple, classy and comfortable … in all aspects of my life. My black shoes fit this description. I’m in the process now of cleaning out other shoes in my closet to create space for more shoes like my new ones!

I love these shoes. Thanks for all the help in finding the right size. Even though they are not perfect for my feet (bad bunions), I had to order a larger size for toe box and put inserts in them.

As good as described

I love these, and have three pairs now. They’re comfortable and very cute. They were as good on a trip as advertised, and are great for every day, too.
