About This Style

    As the name suggests, the style originates from Belgium dating back to the 1700s. In more recent years, we have seen his old-world fashion piece evolve into an ultra-chic sartorial wardrobe staple. At Charix, we've taken Belgium loafer to the next level by incorporating our memory foam insoles, shock-absorbent rubber, and softer leathers. Belgian loafers are the perfect combination of class and comfort, radiating elegance with each step.

True to Size: Simply pick your most common size in dress shoes.

Width: Our shoes come in a medium width that is designed to adopt to a wide range of widths. If you have very wide feet (EE), we recommend ordering half size up. If you have very narrow feet (AA), unfortunately our shoes may be too loose for you.

Euro Sizing: Charix come in whole and half European sizes. Please follow our European increments if you are in between sizes.

Molds to Foot: We use some of the softest leathers and memory foam insoles that mold to your unique foot shape.

Bunions: Our customers with bunions are pleasantly surprised with Charix. The toe-box is curved, seam-free, and features ample room while maintaining an elegant look.

Arch Support: Charix are made with soft memory-foam insoles that provide moderate support that is satisfactory for most. If you require additional arch support, then you can include them as an add-on option at the check-out.

Doesn’t Fit? Most of our customers find their correct size on the first order. And if your first pair doesn’t fit quite right, exchanges and returns

Belgian loafers

I first ordered the cognac loafers, then the graphite - I love these so much. I have several (6, although I’m losing count!!) pairs of the original slip ons, of which I’m clearly a fan, but the loafers are even more comfortable. They have thicker soles and seem even more cushioned. The colors are very rich and the leather (cognac) and suede (graphite) are as always soft and supple. They are beautifully made, and immediately comfortable. I am usually a 7.5 but a 38 in Charix fits me best, I found this true of the loafers too. Love!
